It’s a bit of a generalisation, but we can say that there are two kinds of people, those who already need correction and those who will need it at some point in the future.

There is no such thing as perfect vision. It depends on the environment, circumstance, and the immediate surroundings. To have good sight means the complete opposite for a sailor, than for a watchmaker. In the same way, in our lifetime our visual requirements as well as our bodies change constantly.

But there is good and unencumbered vision that suits you, your surroundings and your lifestyle. Mankind has never accepted this complacently and we has come a long way in the possibilities of improving or doing away with obstacles to clear vision.
